    • Passport to Success

      MVP Mom Wanda Durant will keynote the Passport to Success Expo on Sept. 22 at Oxon Hill High School. The free event combines the annual Family Institute Conference and College and Career Readiness Summit,  featuring more than 20 parent workshops and  more than 35 higher education and workforce representatives. Workshops will focus on strategies for academic success, navigating the school system and saving for college. Local government and agencies, business and trade schools, and fire, police and EMT representatives will be in attendance.

      Participants can also sample new school lunch options at the "Taste of PGCPS."

    • Softball and Baseball Tryouts

      WWMS Softball and Baseball Tryouts will be held during the week of September 10, 2018 (Monday thru Thursday) from 4pm until 6pm. Students must report to the gymnasium immediately following PM dismissal, properly dressed for practice. No previous experience required to tryout for the team. Students can only participate if they have a completed, signed submitted permission slip. If If you have your own baseball/softball equipment, please bring it with you to tryoutsTransportation will not be provided. Parents must make arrangements to pick their child up from school immediately following practice

Students must report to the gymnasium immediately following PM dismissal, properly dressed for practice. No previous experience required to tryout for the team. Students can only participate if they have a completed, signed submittedParental Permission to Participation in Interscholastic Athletics formTransportation will not be provided. Parents must make arrangements to pick their child up from school immediately following practice. Be sure to come prepared for practice with shorts, t-shirts and sneakers.
