Prince George's County Public Schools

Transportation Mission

To deliver efficient transportation and fleet services that enable all students to arrive at their destination safely and on-time every day.

Transportation Facts

Prince George's County Public Schools has a fleet of approximately 1,253 buses, transports more than 78,500 students to and from school each day, and oversees 5,488 bus routes through urban, suburban and rural neighborhoods. Buses also provide transportation services for homeless students, students with disabilities, student athletes and performers, and school field trips.
