• Media Advisory: Barnaby Manor Elementary to Receive Library Makeover

    UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Barnaby Manor Elementary School students, parents and community will celebrate the grand opening of a new library on Thursday, May 10. Through a generous grant from Keller Williams Preferred Partners and non-profit partner The Heart of America Foundation, the library will be transformed into an inviting, engaging space for learning.

    As part of their annual RED Day community service initiative, approximately 80 Keller Williams Preferred Partners volunteers will paint, build shelves for new books, perform literacy activities with students and beautify the entire space. The renovated library media center will feature new, artwork, a reading corner with comfortable seating and reading rug, tables, fresh paint and parent resources. Over 300 new books will be donated through the grant, as well as almost 100 new fiction titles donated from PGCPS.
