      On Thursday, February 20, 2020 Lake Arbor will connect our community with Kaiser Permanente in recognition of Healthy Heart Month. 


      Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic Region has a Mobile Health Vehicle that provides easy access to care at your location. Kaiser Permanent’s mission is to provide quality care for our members and the families and to contribute to the well-being of our communities. Kaiser Permanente will deliver conveniently. superior, personalized health care in an innovative and paperless environment that is seamless, customized, and completely consistent with Kaiser Permanente’s mission and model of care.


      Kaiser Permanente will provide: 

      *Blood Pressure screening *BMI *Flu Shots *Diabetes Screenings 

      *Cholesterol Screenings  *Blood testing.

      The Mobile Dentist will be at Lake Arbor Elementary School on March 20, 2020. Permission slips will be sent home with students soon. Students should return permission slips no later than March 12, 2020.

      NOTICES:


      Parents/Guardians:
      Remember, if your Scholar participates in any after-school activity such as -Dance Team, Cheerleading Squad, Student Council Leaders, Broadcast Crew and MORE -ALL students MUST be picked up at the END TIME listed on the permission slip. Most after-school activities end between 3:25 to 3:45pm at the latest. Please be outside ON TIME to pick up your Student. Students also enrolled in Lake Arbor Before and After Care will be escorted to their in-school Aftercare program. Parents should make pickup arrangements if students are enrolled in other (external) After Care programs or parents may pick students up at program's end.

      DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING TO PICK UP STUDENTS FROM AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES. Program Coaches will escort ALL students OUTSIDE at the designated program dismissal time.

      >Please remember that you must have a valid ID when visiting Lake Arbor Elementary School.

      >Parents and Guardians must exit your car and present your valid ID when picking up your child(ren) from the Car Riders Dismissal Location. Please bring your Identification EACH DA

    • 2019-2020 Bus Route Information Change

      Information on student bus routes is available through the online Bus Stop Finder on the Prince George’s County Public Schools website (www.pgcps.org) or the SchoolMax Parent Portal.

      Route information will not be issued to parents/guardians by mail.

      Parents/guardians may use the Bus Stop Finder for details on locations, pick-up and drop-off times.

      Bus stop/route assignments are based on current student addresses provided by each school. If you cannot find your stop, we may not have your correct address. In this case, please contact your school to confirm the current address on file.
