    • American Sign Language

The Office of Interpreting and Translation also facilitates American Sign Language interpreters for parents who are deaf or hard of hearing.   To make a request for a sign language interpreter, please follow the same request procedure as for other language interpreters. Authorized requesters will submit a request through the Fluency online interpreter request system, which will include: information on the time and place of the meeting or event, the names of the student for whom parents will receive the service, and day and evening contact numbers.  Some requests, such as meetings taking over two hours, may require two interpreters.
