  • On Wednesday, March 25, State Superintendent of Education Dr. Karen Salmon announced that all Maryland public schools will remain closed through Friday, April 24.
    Picking up meals, digital devices and instructional materials for distance learning is permitted under Gov. Hogan's stay-at-home order (Sect IIb(iv)).

    • DFMS Chromebook Distribution

      Greetings Drew-Freeman MS families.  This message is to provide guidance for a second Chromebook distribution day.  If you are in need of a device for your child, Chromebooks will be distributed on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Scholars who received a Chromebook on the first distribution date will not receive another one.

      Students with last names beginning with:

      A - J should come from 10:10 am -  11:00 am  

      K - P should come from 11:10 am - 12:00 pm 

      Q - Z should come from 12:10 pm - 1:00 pm 

      Please be advised you must have your ID or your child’s report card and complete a Student Equipment Agreement form in order to receive a device (no exceptions).  We will be practicing social distancing during device distribution therefore so it is imperative that you have your ID or report card and a pen to sign the Student Equipment Agreement form ready upon arrival.  Thank you.

      There will be a line for drive-up service and another line for walkers. Both lines will be on the
      Brooks Drive side of the building.
