    WHAT IS THE DODGE PARK ES PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION?:

    The DPES Parent Teacher Association (DPES-PTA) is looking forward to working with you to make this year a success for our students, teachers, and families.

    All families, parents and staff are encouraged and welcomed to join the PTA.

    Together we can foster relationships with each other, build a strong team to support our school, and, most of all, we can show our children how much we care about them and their education.

    Annual dues are $15 for one adult per household and $20 for a family membership (2 or more adults per household). Children in the household will be added to your membership.

    Dues include membership in the state and national PTA. Plus, a portion of the monies collected are utilized for PTA operations, to fund PTA activities, and to provide support for the students and teachers of DPES.

    This year we are looking to maintain and increase our momentum as we partner our school, our community, and local businesses to:

    • enhance the overall experience for our children,

    • increase academic opportunities, and

    • provide support to DPES staff and teachers.

    Our membership goal for the 2018-2019 school year is to increase participation through membership by 75%.

    How to Join the Dodge Park ES Parent Teacher Association (DPES-PTA):

    There are MANY different ways to join the DPES PTA.

    Completed membership forms and annual dues of $15-$20 can be submitted:

    • at DPES events, PTA meetings and functions,

    • to Mrs. R. Washington in the Main Office,

    • by sending your dues and a completed membership application in a sealed envelope (made out to DPES PTA) with your child to give to their teacher. (IMPORTANT NEXT STEP: Please call the Main Office (301-883-4220) to confirm that your child turned in the envelope to their teacher. DPES-PTA is not responsible if your child does not submit the dues and if parents fail to confirm with the Main Office).

    There will be a PTA Meeting to vote on the Board of Directors for the 2018-2019 school year on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the cafeteria. The nominees are:
