    CTE Evening High School Application

    CTE Evening High School will provide industry-related employment for students during the day with instructional support in the evening.

    The Criteria for Eligibility:

    • Current 10th grader/rising 11th grader
    • Completed at least 13 credits (up to date in courses at the end of SY18-19)
    • Required course completion by end of SY19: 2 Eng, 2 Math, 2 Science, 2 SS, PE, Health, FOT & Fine Art. (Students must have passed all listed courses at the end of SY18-19 in order to be considered for the CTE program).
    • Have an overall 2.0 GPA

    Academic Offerings:
    Program Offerings: Carpentry, ProStart, Nursing Assistant (CNA only)
    Core Course: English, Math, Social Studies, Science
    Full Online Courses: Social studies and Science for Carpentry students

    Credentialing:
    Upon the successful passing the technical skills exams, meeting program requirements and earning a high school diploma, students will receive the following industry recognized credentials:

    • Certified Nursing Assistant - Maryland Board of Nurses Certified Nursing Assistant certificate
    • Food and Beverage Management (ProStart) - National ProStart Certification of Achievement
    • Carpentry - National Center for Construction Education and Research certification
