She is currently serving a third term as a Board Member where she was first elected in December 2010.  District 4 cities include Cheverly, Bladensburg, Landover, Landover Hills, Palmer Park, Lanham, Forestville, Capitol Heights, Hyattsville, Seabrook, Riverdale, Glenn Dale, Glenarden, and Springdale.

Ms. Eubanks is a dedicated community leader, family advocate and faith community leader.  As a single parent who has advocated for her children’s success through Prince George’s County Public Schools, she is passionate about informing, preparing and supporting parents as a board member and other methods.  In 2001 she started M.O.T.H.E.R. (My Opportunity To Help Everyone Resource) which is to reach the most important part of our society “Family”.

Ms. Eubanks currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Parent, Family and Community Engagement Committee and is also a member of the Academic Achievement Committee, and the Board Governance Committee.  As a member of these committees Ms. Eubanks has championed and has been an intricate part of advocating for the start of the PGCPS family Institute which started under the leadership of the C.E.O., Dr. Kevin Maxwell in 2014.  Ms. Eubanks realized, as a parent herself, no school system can do this large job of educating our children without parent involvement. There is a need to involve and truly engage parents and community.  She also advocated for the start and implementation of a department that tracts, reports and trains PGCPS employees on the importance of great customer service and is happy to say the Office of the Ombudsman is charged with those duties.
