• Meet the New Faces of Yorktown Elementary

    Meet some of the new faces at Yorktown for the upcoming 2017 - 2018 School Year.  Pictured from left to right are Mrs. Beller (2nd Grade), Mr. Cuellar (4th Grade) and Ms. Bonnington (1st grade).  Not pictured above: Mrs. Howard (Spanish).



     Beller 3
    This is Mrs. Beller.  Mrs. Beller is teaching 2nd Grade this year.  Mrs. Beller has been in education for 26 years and is a native of Pennsylvania.  Mrs. Beller likes to meet people and enjoys learning about them.  Mrs. Beller is looking forward to learning with and all about her 2nd graders.  Welcome to Yorktown Mrs. Beller.


    Ms. Bonnington


    This is Ms. Bonnington.  Ms. Bonnington is a native of Bowie and a recent graduate of Towson University.  She will be teaching 1st grade this year.  In her spare time, Ms. Bonnington enjoys crafting, singing and seeing musicals as well as playing soccer and her ukulele.  Ms. Bonnington is looking forward to getting to know and be a part of the wonderful Yorktown family.  Welcome to Yorktown Ms. Bonnington.


    Cuellar 2

    This is Mr. Cuellar.  Mr. Cuellar is a native of Maryland and is in his second year of teaching.  Mr. Cuellar enjoys trying new things and going on adventures.  Mr. Cuellar is looking forward to working with the Yorktown community and especially the incoming 4th graders.  Welcome to Yorktown Mr. Cuellar.

    Howard 2

      This is Mrs. Howard, Yorktown's new Spanish teacher.  Mrs. Howard is a native of Mexico and has been teaching for 12 years.  This is her first year with Prince George's County Public Schools.  In her spare time, Mrs. Howard enjoys embroidery and gardening.  Mrs. Howard is looking forward to expanding students' knowledge of the Spanish language and culture.  Welcome to Yorktown Mrs. Howard.
