William Hall Academy
2011 Performance Report
Dear William Hall Academy Parents & Guardians,
Welcome to the 2011 Maryland Report Card for William Hall Academy. The detailed information you are about to review on the performance of our school helps every stakeholder measure student growth from year to year. Since 1991, Maryland has reported state, school system, and school level information to the public.
Throughout the Maryland 2011 report card, you can find dditional highlights that include Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), demographic, enrollment, and attendance data, as well as other supporting facts. As always, we encourage you to review the data and to send us feedback on other data you would find helpful in measuring a student’s success. And be sure to read the "What's Changed" section. Here you will find information about the new race codes and how the state of Maryland is complying with federal guidelines to protect student privacy.
There are many good things taking place here at William Hall Academy. We encourage and appreciate your continued support as we work to strengthen every child in every classroom.

At William W. Hall Elementary School, children are our business. Our goal this year is for every student to read, at minimum, on the level of Proficient. This year we expect every television at home to be turned off at a reasonable time and a variety of literature read, even on weekends. We truly believe that children excel at what they practice.
