    • Confidence Course Training with Green School Component May 3rd
      The William Schmidt Center will host the next Confidence Course training on May 3rd running from 9am - 3:30pm.
      Registration is found on ERO under Environmental Education. (SRN 44099170310)

      Training is held outside in the various weather conditions so please dress accordingly.

      Bring a bag lunch; time will not permit participants to leave campus for lunch .

    • Summer Camp Information
      The William S. Schmidt Outdoor Education Center (Camp Schmidt) is offering three opportunities for students to experience either an Overnight Summer Camp or Summer Day Camp (all grade level appropriate). Each camp will offer experiences such as woodland ecology, high and low ropes courses, building camp fires, and more, with instruction from certified staff.
       2017 Summer Camp Info  Registration opens on February 27th.
    • Natural Resources Careers Camp
      This summer students in grades 9-12 will be able to participate in the Natural Resources Careers Camp presented by The Maryland Association of Forest Conservancy District Boards.  This unique opportunity will allow students to learn about and participate in a variety of activities related to natural resources, all while having fun outside and making connections with other like-minded students from across the region.  For more information click here.  For information regarding scholarships contact james.roberson@pgcps.org.
