What are the NorthBay Objectives?

Students will learn methods of sampling, data collection, identifying problems, questioning techniques, and methods for formulating how students solve problems in their environment.

- Before, during and after reading and research techniques; practice
- Follow-up studies
- Real world connections to conceptual applications through various communications

What training is provided for the instructors?
The following training is provided:
- Training and presenting introductory materials prior to the visit
- Keyhole Pro Technology training for follow-up student activities
- Develop project objectives at the site, then follow-up at school site
- Integrating literacy and mathematics in the science curriculum
- Short term/long term data gathering and research skills
