"Back To School Night" A Great Success!
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our Back to School Night! We had a great turnout and look forward to working with all of our students' families and community members to make this a great year at Thomas Johnson Middle School, Home of the Jaguars! PTSA Meeting: October 13th, 2015, 6:30pm

Picture Day: November 3rd & 4th, 2015
& Students: TJMS Picture Day will occur on November 3rd and 4th during the school day. Students are expected to be in proper school dress code, including the correct color polo for their grade level. More information, including ordering details, will be distributed and sent home closer to the picture day date.
Important 7th Grade Student Immunization Information
PGCPS and the State of Maryland require all students entering 7th grade this academic year to submit immunization records to the school nurse. Failure to complete this requirement may result in your child not being able to attend school until official immunization records are provided from the doctor. Click below for more information!

Student Athletic Packet for All Athletes!
Parents: Any student wishing to participate in an athletic sport for TJMS this school year is required to submit records of receiving a doctor's physical prior to participation that is dated within the past 12 months. Questions about physicals may be directed to our schools athletic director, Mr. Alston, at email@example.com.
PARCC Testing Tips for Parents & Students
Please take a few minutes to review a list of suggested ideas (bilingual) that will help your child in the classroom on the upcoming PARCC test which is replacing the former MSA test. This test will be administered entirely on the computer. Please read the provided tips and feel free to contact your child's grade level guidance counselor if you have any further questions/concerns.
