Vision
Our vision is of a climate in which teamwork, togetherness, support and encouragement creates maximum achievement among our learning community. This climate will promote challenges and successes while building trust amongst its members. To fulfill this vision, we must have communication and cooperation as a foundation. We will build on this foundation and use each others’ talents and strengths to make a stronger whole.

Mission
In accordance with the priorities outlined by Prince George’s County Public School, Thomas Claggett Elementary School’s faculty, staff and students strive to maintain a learning environment that is structured, safe and supportive of each member of the community. As a community dedicated to learning, we the staff, parents, and students are committed to work in a cooperative spirit for the overall development of all students. We will achieve the highest academic and performance standards in a loving and caring environment.
