SCHOOL INFORMATION

Surrattsville High School is a uniform school. Strict adherence to the policy will be  enforced.   Uniform shirts should be green, yellow or white polo styled shirts. Additionally, students are required to wear khaki pants or skirts.  If your child is not dressed in accordance with the dress code, you will be notified and your child may be subject to disciplinary procedures in accordance with the student code of conduct and/or the school-wide displace plan.            

 SCHOOL HOURS: 
Classes begin promptly at 7:45 a.m. and conclude at 2:25 p.m. It is a strictly enforced requirement that all students arrive on time to school daily.

 Click here to access your bus and route information  . Please note that it is imperative you arrive at your bus stop at least ten minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.

 ATTENDANCE: Your son/daughter should be in school on time and in class every day. Time lost from instruction can never be regained simply by doing make-up work. Illnesses  and emergencies are excused absences; oversleeping and missing the bus are unexcused absences. Students cannot be expected to  perform in a satisfactory manner if they are not present daily for instruction.
