As a part of Secondary School Reform (SSR), Prince George's County Public Schools will redesign its
high schools. To enrich teaching and learning, each high school will focus on specific career related themes. PGCPS
is pursuing this new vision to ensure that 100% of our graduates are college and workforce ready for the 21st century.
Secondary School Reform is the strategic implementation of that vision.
Below are the academies that will be offered during the 2013-14 academic year incoming 9th grade students will
be able to participate in an academy if offered at their boundary high school.
