Paid STEM Summer
Positions
Capital
Scholar, Inc. in conjunction with the Maryland National Capital Park and
Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) will conduct STEM summer programs in various
community centers in Prince George's County, MD and Montgomery County, MD. This will be the fifth year for the STEM
summer programming hosted by Capital Scholars and M-NCPPC. In 2016 the STEM summer programming will
expand to more community centers and additional teaching opportunities are now
available.
The teaching
opportunities are flexible hours, paid summer positions. Must be able to work at least three days a
week, if you can work the full work this is preferable. Qualified individuals will review placement at
the following community centers-Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex,
Glenarden Community Center, Largo/ Kettering/Perrywood Community Center and
Takoma Park Community Center. We are
looking for certified teachers in Science, Math and Technology and
undergraduate/graduate students in STEM curriculum.
