Maryland Wood Bridge Challenge

The Maryland Wood Bridge Challenge -- an engineering design contest for middle and high school students to apply and reinforce crucial science, math, and writing skills -- will be held at the ‘Baltimore Museum of Industry’ on Saturday, Feb 27, 2016 as part of the MD Engineering Challenges and National Engineer’s Week.

Students will be eligible for prizes and scholarships for their structural design, efficiency, and technical report. Teachers are also eligible for a cash price and recognition for their excellence mentoring a student or class. In the past 3 years, they have awarded $3700 to students & teachers.
