WELCOM NOVEMBER!

This week is CELEBRATING AMERICAN EDUCATION week! 


Monday, November 17: My Favorite Book. Teachers are asked to share their


favorite book with their class. 


Tuesday, November 18: Substitute Educators Day. Each class is asked to create 


a “Thank You” card or cards for all the work they do to help support students when the 


regular classroom teacher is absent.


Wednesday, November 19: Parent Open House. 


Thursday, November 20: Support Personnel Appreciation Day. Each class is 


asked to choose a Support Person from the list in the Staff Lounge and have students 


create a “Thank You” card or cards for all the work they do to make our school a great 


place to learn. 


Friday, November 21: “Rep your College Day”. Everyone is encouraged to wear 


college paraphernalia to promote “going to college.” Students must wear their uniforms 


under any college paraphernalia.


The NEA motto for the week is “Raise Your Hand For Student Success.” 


The Prince George’s County Public Schools motto is “Great By Choice.”


The RHES Motto is “Every Student A Success, Every Dream A Reality

SCHOOL EMERGENCY PLAN: 2013-14 Emergency Plan (ENG)2013-14 Emergency Plan (SPA)

School Attendance is Critical: Parents are to contact the school when their child is absent and send a note with the date of the absence, the reason for the absence, and the parent contact information EVERY TIME the student is absent. 

La asistencia escolar es crucial: Los padres deben de avisar a la escuela cuando los estudiantes faltan y mandar una nota justificando la ausencia que incluya la fecha, el motivo de la ausencia y los datos para comunicarse con el padre SIEMPRE que el estudiante falta.
