Analysis of Middle Grade (i.e., Grade 6, 7, and 8) Student Achievement and Suspension by School Type

Existing literature suggests that middle grade students are better served in K-6 and 7-8 schools than in 6-8 settings. Findings from an analysis of the PGCPS achievement and suspension data generally support those reported in the literature.
