Academy Overview  
The Academy of Global Studies engages students in an educational experience that fosters international understanding and welcomes diversity of thought while preparing students for a globally interconnected world.  Students will understand and accept the differences they encounter in our increasingly global society and understand the importance of global awareness and the ways in which globalization shapes history, international cultures, the economy, politics, and society.  

Programs of Study  
The Academy of Global Studies features the following two programs of study:

International Business & Finance 

The International Business & Finance program defines the scope of international business and differentiates between domestic operations and business in an international context.

Business strategies used by organizations to achieve their international objectives will be brought into context of the global economic and political environment. Students will be provided with an understanding of the international dimension of finance and how this impacts upon business in the global economy.

Recommended Electives: Advanced Placement Economics, Business Law, Business Technology and Procedures, Computer Software Applications, Entrepreneurship, Foreign Policy Issues, International Issues, Keyboarding, Web Page Design.
