Science Technology Engineering Math Grant (STEM)

The purpose of the STEM grant is to develop cohorts of students equipped to pursue studies in science, technology, mathematics and engineering. The grant targets groups of teachers and students at the elementary, middle and high school levels. The Oxon Hill Science and Technology High School, Oxon Hill Middle School and Oxon Hill Elementary Schools will be specifically targeted in order to cerate a greater “pipeline” of students prepared to take more rigorous science, technology, mathematics,  and engineering courses. On a systemic level, the Howard B. Owens Science Center will be offering programs to all fourth, eighth and tenth grade students utilizing STEM connections.
