Gingerbread House Making

Act Now: Talented and Gifted Seats Available
Based on the expansion of the Talented and Gifted (TAG) Program by the Board of Education, the “wait list” for certain grades at some TAG Center locations have been exhausted and new applications are being accepted.
Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
If interested, please submit an email to PASBT@pgcps.org with your child's name, date of birth, current grade and PGCPS Student Number. The subject line on the email should be "Lottery". If you don't have access to email, please call (301) 952-6262 and we will submit an email on your behalf. A time stamped message will be taken during off-hours.
Due to the abbreviated process, no acknowledgement of the request will be provided so you should mark “return receipt requested” in your mail system. You will be contacted only if a placement can be made. No applications will be accepted after Sept 28th and no placements will be made after October 1st.
Only students who were TAG identified prior to School Year 2012-2013 are eligible and not all grades are available at all locations. You can check your assigned TAG center by using the “Find a school” link on our main web page, entering your address and scrolling down the listing of schools.
Seats are available in the following schools and grades:
Glenarden Woods ES - Grades 2, 3, 5
Greenbelt Middle - Grade 8
Heather Hills ES - Grade 5
Highland Park ES - Grade 5
Longfields ES - Grades 2, 3, 5
Walker Mill Middle - Grades 6, 8
