    PGCPS Parent and Teacher Nomination Window - Grades 2 and 4 - 7

    (1st and 3rd graders are test nominated via cognitive ability testing.)

    All test data is good for 2 years.

    First time PGCPS registrants in grades 2, 4, and 5 will be tested , dates TBD

    Parent and Teacher Nominated students MUST meet a criteria for retesting in grades 5 – 8.  Contact the TAG Coordinator at the school.

    Nov. 13 – Dec. 1

    3rd Grade OLSAT Testing Window – Universal Testing (Students already TAG identified will not be tested.)

    Dec. 5 - 15

    2nd, 4th, and 5th Grade New PGCPS  Registrant OLSAT Testing Window

    Nov. 8

    Application for TAG testing/screening of private school students available.  

    Nov. 29 – Dec. 15

    1st Grade OLSAT  Testing Window – Universal Testing

    PGCPS Specialty Programs Lottery application available at http://specialty.pgcps.org/

    Jan. 12

    TAG Testing and Screening for Private School Students Application is due via U.S. mail  by 5:00 pm

    Feb. 9

    Deadline for TAG Coordinators to submit all TAG screening paperwork to TAG Office

    (students nominated by parents, teachers, and universal testing)

    Feb. 10

    Private School/Homeschool TAG Testing (no walk ins)

    Feb. 28 TAG Center Specialty Program Showcase  
    Kenmoor Middle School, 2500 Kenmoor Drive, Landover
    6:30 - 8:00  
    Parents and Guardians interested in learning more about the TAG Center Program and Lottery Process are encourage to attend.

    March 12

    PGCPS Specialty Programs Application - http://specialty.pgcps.org/

    Students must be TAG identified by PGCPS and apply to the lottery by the deadline to be eligible to attend the TAG Center Program.  Placements are made based on home address.  Use Schoolfinder to identify the program boundary school.
