• Private/Home School Testing Application

    STUDENTS WHO RESIDE IN PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY AND ATTEND A PRIVATE SCHOOL OR ARE REGISTERED AS HOMESCHOOLED ARE ELIGIBLE TO COMPLETE AN APPLICATION FOR TAG TESTING AND SCREENING.

    PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION BELOW AND SUBMIT COMPLETE APPLICATION PACKET BY JANUARY 12, 2018.  

    WALK INS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

    TAG Testing and Screening Timeline
    For Private and Homeschool Students
     
    Current Prince George’s County residents (grades 1 – 7)
    attending a private or home school are eligible for TAG testing and screening.

    Jan. 12

    TAG Testing and Screening for Private School Students Application is due via U.S. mail  by 5:00 pm.  Late applications cannot be accepted.

    Parents are encouraged to secure a student identification number from the boundary school and submit a Specialty Lottery application DURING the screening process.

     Only students that are TAG identified will receive possible placement via the lottery process.

    Feb. 10

    Private School/Homeschool TAG Testing (no walk ins) 8:30 – 12:30

    Parents/Guardians must stay on the premises during the testing.

    Feb. 14 - 21

    Parents will be notified via U.S. mail of the results of the TAG screening.

    March 12

    Students must be TAG identified by PGCPS and apply to the lottery by the deadline to be eligible to attend the TAG Center Program.  Placements are made based on home address.  Use Schoolfinder to identify the program boundary school.
