• Media Advisory: PGCPS to Receive $25M Federal Grant for Teacher and Principal Effectiveness

    U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen will announce a three-year, $25 million federal grant to Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) for the “Great Teachers, Great Leaders, Great Schools” project under the Teacher Incentive Fund Program.

    The funds will be invested in teachers and principals at high-needs schools.

    PGCPS is one of 14 school systems nationwide to receive the grant.
