    Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) will host a dedication ceremony Friday for the new Fairmont Heights High School in Hyattsville.

    Built to LEED gold environmental standards in new construction, the 193,000-square-foot school is a modern, state-of-the-art educational facility designed to support a comprehensive academy-based educational model, Fairmont Heights houses Environmental Sciences, Information Technology and Performing Arts programs.
