The OHMS Annual Career Day event is scheduled for Monday, May 18th. If you have friends or family members who would like to participate as a presenter please contact Ms. Roberts or the Guidance Office . 4.0 Scholar Luncheon.
Congratulations OHMS 4.0 who were invited along with their parents to attend a celebratory luncheon. Parents and student s enjoyed refreshments and light fare donated from local businesses.
PARRC E.O.Y Testing will start Monday April 20th and continue until May 12th pending makeups. Please make sure student are present and on time everyday to participate in this assessment.
Third Quarter progress Report Cards are being release Thursday April 23. This week students will be working on personalized "4th to 1st" visual depictions of achievement to improve their ;"Personal goals, Challenges,Academic Goals, and/or Health & Wellness Goals"

SCIENCE BOWL CHAMPIONS!
"OHMS won both rounds of the PGCPS Middle School Science Bowl Competition against Thomas Johnson and G. James Gholson. OHMS will head back to the competition again on Tuesday, March 17, 2015!
Science Bowl is a nationwide academic competition that tests students’ knowledge in all areas of science and mathematics. Middle and high school student teams from diverse backgrounds are comprised of four students, one alternate, and a teacher who serves as an advisor and coach. These teams face-off in a fast-paced question-and-answer format, being tested on a range of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math."
