Greetings Parents, Staff and Students! My name is Devona Faison and I am the School-Based Parent Liaison at Overlook Elementary School. As Parent Liaison, my objective is to enhance the valuable partnership between parents and their children’s school. Ultimately, we must enhance and increase parental involvement in order to reach even higher levels of academic achievement for every child. There is no substitute for parental support which makes it so very valuable to the educational progress of every student. Therefore, I intend to link you with the resources and information necessary to help your children experience academic success. Under the supervision of the school Principal Mrs. Patricia Lowery, I will help you gain an understanding of your rights and responsibilities, school policies and procedures. In doing so, I need your full cooperation and participation during this school year.
