The Office of Organizational Development is committed to being a strategic partner in developing its staff, building high performing teams, improving performance, and building organizational capability.  Organizational Development acts as a catalyst enabling all employees of Prince George's County Public Schools  (PGCPS) to contribute at optimum levels towards the success of its students and the organization. 

Organizational Development offers a suite of innovative and value-added consulting, and training and development programs and services for the organization, departments, teams and individuals.

Organizational Development is responsible for the assessment of organizational needs, and the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of all employees of the PGCPS, with special attention to the non-instructional staff. 

Organizational Development provides services to leadership personnel throughout the organization who are charged with designing and managing change.  Services range from assisting with the design of the change process to offering courses and learning experiences to support the change. 

Organizational Development provides services and guidance to the paraprofessional staff in acquisition of the skills and knowledge that lead to certification as highly qualified classroom support staff. 

Organizational Development monitors the services that are rendered to this group of personnel to ensure that their growth and development is supported and, when appropriate, the necessary training is available for them to become certified classroom teachers. 

Organizational Development handles the processing of tuition reimbursement for all certified teachers and support staff in PGCPS. 

Organizational Development also works collaboratively on the design and implementation of evaluation tools that support the vision, mission, and values of the school system.
