    Ms. Washington received a B.A. in French from Virginia Union University, Secondary Education Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Howard University. Ms. Washington taught for six years in the Richmond City Public School System before relocating to Maryland in 1999. Ms. Washington taught for 6 years at Forestville High School before being appointed as Assistant Principal in July 2005. After serving as Assistant Principal at Central High School for eight years, Ms. Washington joined the Wildcat Family in July 2013. Ms. Washington is a G.R.I.T.S (Girl Raised in the South), a native of Petersburg, Virginia, and she loves to laugh, loves life and loves what she does!
