Does Your Child Meet the New
Immunization Requirements?

Read about the new requirements
As you are aware there are new immunization regulations required for the 2014-2015 school year. Normally we refer families to the Health Department.  However they are already booked until mid October.  To assist families with Kindergarten and 7th graders the Office of School Health, Policy, Services and Innovation will be holding an immunization clinic for those students only. To meet the needs of all Prince Georges County residents, we will be holding the clinic at the following locations from 11 am - 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2014:

Bladensburg High School Wellness Center
Fairmont Heights High School Wellness Center
Northwestern High School Wellness Center
Oxon Hill High School Wellness Center

You MUST be a resident of Prince Georges County and you must bring your child's immunization record with you.

TAG HONOR AWARDED TO MONTPELIER!

Egate Montpelier Elementary school will receive the 2012 Maryland Excellence in Gifted and Talented Education (EGATE) School Awards.

The award recognizes programs that offer superior and equitable gifted and talented education. The rigorous application process required school teams to document the ways that the school’s program is aligned with state criteria for excellence. The Maryland State Advisory Council on Gifted and Talented Education reviewed the applications.
