Summer Programs
The Summer Arts Enrichment Institute will be held at James Madison Middle School
from June 29 to July 9, 2009; 8:30 am until 3:00 pm.
There will be no charge for participation. Transportation must be provided by parents.
This program is organized by James Madison Middle School, Frederick Douglass High School and the Office of Enrichment and Specialty
Programs. It will include dance, logo design, drama, painting, sculpting and more.

George Washington University College Summer Reading - The classes for this program are offered in Upper Marlboro at Mount Ephraim Baptist Church, Largo Road. They have different programs for students entering different grade levels. Each program meets once each week from mid June to mid July. There are flyers on the Marlton office counter or call 1-800-978-9596 or www.cps.gwu.edu/reading to register or gain more information.
Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) – EDUSERC is offering summer programs designed to provide students with hands-on experience in a STEM field, team building and leadership development skills and interaction with engineering mentors. An open house will be held on 4/30/08 (6:30 – 8:30 p.m.) at EduSerc Training & OLearning Institute, 1040 West Street, Laurel, MD.
