Welcome to the Office of Library Media Services

Located at Bonnie F. Johns Educational Media Center, the Office of Library Media provides intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats, instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information, technology and ideas and learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.

The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.

The Prince George's County Public Schools Library Media Program has adopted the mission statement from Information Power: Building Partnerships for Learning.

Hours

The Office of Library Media Services is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are not open when Main Offices are closed.
