As the principal of Lewisdale Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to our family.  The Lewisdale Elementary School family shares the vision that, “We are building a World Class Elementary School through the partnerships of parents, teachers, students and community members.”  As the principal I have established four goals for our school:

Goal 1:      Ensure that 100% of our students score proficient on the MSA

Goal 2:      Increase Parental Involvement & Community Partnerships

Goal 3:      Ensure a Safe and Orderly Environment

Goal 4:      Develop a Community of Lifelong Learners

The staff of Lewisdale is committed to the children of our community.  We have increased the academic rigor of our daily instruction through the use of technology and required monthly projects.  In addition, we have developed strong community partnerships with our parents and community sponsors.  The staff and I believe in the old African proverb that, “It takes a whole village to raise a child.”
