Other Uniform Requirements

  • Pants may not be split at the seams.  Pants must be hemmed.
  • No Capri or cargo pants allowed.
  • All footwear must have enclosed heals and toes.  Crocs are not allowed.
  • No excessive jewelry, accessories, fad dressing, or headbands/head wraps/head scarves.
  • No outerwear (coats, jackets, etc.) can be worn during the school day.   (NorthFace coats and jackets may be worn to school; however, they must be placed in lockers during the school day)
  • Hats can not be worn during the school day.  All hats must be placed in lockers during the school day.
  • No denim or corduroy material pants.
  • No jeans
  • No pinned-up, tied, or cropped shirts.

    By - Grace Uniform Outfitters is the official uniform vendor for Largo High School.  If parents opt to purchase the uniform from a store of their choice, the uniform must meet the same standards as the adopted school uniform. Uniform Discipline Plan

2008-2009The Largo Community and PTSA adopted a uniform policy to assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment at Largo High School (LHS). Students are expected to wear uniforms to school everyday.  If your child brings his/her uniform to school, your child will be permitted to change and then will be sent to class. However, this will be considered a first offense violation and further violations will result in appropriate action.

Students will not be permitted to attend class out of uniform.  Students who violate the uniform policy will be sent to In-School Suspension (ISS).  Listed below are the consequences that will be used to enforce uniform policy.  

 

1st Offense

  • Student will be sent to In-School Suspension (ISS).
  • Your child will have the opportunity to call home to have a uniform brought to school.

2nd Offense

  • Your child will receive a parent phone call
  • Student will be sent to ISS.

3rd Offense

  • Your child will receive a parent phone call.
  • Student will be sent to ISS.
  • Student will be assigned to detention

4th Offense

  • Grade level administrator will contact parent to request a conference.
  • Student will be sent to ISS.

5th Offense

  • Your child will receive a phone call and/or a letter home
  • Student will be sent to ISS
  • Student will receive a two-day suspension.
