ANNOUNCEMENT  

            The PSAT will be administered at Largo High School on October 12, 2011.   The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary Scholastic Achievement Test / National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is offered by the College Board each year as an assessment tool to allow students to evaluate themselves in the areas of critical reading, mathematics and writing.  It is also excellent preparation for underclassmen to prepare for the SAT.  Additionally, juniors can qualify for scholarships based upon their performance on this test.  

         All students currently enrolled in grade 10 will be taking this test at no cost.  Students in grade 10 or 11 who wish to take the test must register for the test by paying $15.00.  Funds may be paid to Mrs. Slay in office # C-11.  The deadline to register is October 6, 2011.  Click on the following for additional information about the PSAT.
