School Psychologists help children and youth succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. They collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students.  Typically known for “testing” students for Special Education services, School Psychologists are also able to provide a wide-range of mental health services in schools, from individual and group counseling to classroom management strategies and consultation.  They advocate for student’s rights and promote research-based interventions, practices, and policies.
