Special Education
Langley Park-McCormick’s mission in Special Education is to provide individualized support for students with special needs so that they can succeed academically, while accessing the curriculum within the general education classroom. Our dedicated Special Education Team services grades Pre-Kindergarten through six and consists of five members: Martin Abegly (Resource Teacher), Caryl Ashrey (Resource Teacher), Laura Bennett (Psychologist), Ellen Silverberg (Speech and Language Pathologist) and Johanna Sims (Resource Teacher and Department Chair).
