Dr. Gloria J. Reid-Alford has earned a Bachelors of Science degree, from Hampton University, Hampton Virginia, with an emphasis in languages and history. Dr. Reid-Alford has also earned a Masters in Human Relations and Supervision from George Washington, University, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, with an emphasis on improving students’ reading skills, from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Reid-Alford firmly believes that all students “can learn.” Additionally, she steadfastly believes that all students “will learn.” Students learn when provided educationally sound opportunities to learn, in an environment conducive to learning.

The school year holds many promising and rewarding opportunities for the Langley Park-McCormick students, staff, and school community. Sincere gratitude is offered to the total faculty, student body, and school community for the tremendous cooperation and support already received.
