Ms. Amy L. Stout has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Middle School Education from California University of PA and a Masters of Science in School Administration from McDaniel College.  She began her teaching career first as a classroom teacher at Seabrook Elementary School and then as the Assistant Principal.  Continuing on her career path, she went to Laurel Elementary School as the Assistant Principal for two years.  She is now very pleased and excited to join the Langley Park-McCormick Elementary School family and community as Principal.

Ms. Stout believes in educational excellence for all students.  It is necessary to teach, challenge, and support every student so that each student will be able to realize his or her maximum potential by acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills.  Ms. Stout welcomes parents and encourages them to play an active role in their children’s education.
