Homework is an important component of learning. The regular homework schedule has begun. The schedule can be found in your child's agenda book and in his homework folder.  Please make it a point to check your child's homework for accuracy and completeness nightly.  The homework is to be returned to the classroom teacher the next day. Also check to see that your child has all the school supplies that he or she needs to complete her work. An additional supply list is available through your child's teacher.

Each child has received a Lamont Agenda Book. The student will record the daily assignments, spelling word list, etc. in the agenda book each day. It is also a great source for parents and teachers to send a written message.  Make it a habit to check it often.

The Monday's Envelope will go home at the beginning of each school week.  It will contain graded papers and special letters from the school. Please take time to review the work papers with your child and discuss the academic progress for that week. Be sure to empty the envelope and sign it before returning it the next day.
