Anyone wishing to be a chaperone, you MUST complete a commercial background check
or be fingerprinted. Please read the following information:
 
 
Background checks for volunteers
NOTE: Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Volunteers who qualify may elect to do a commercial background check in place of the fingerprinting as per Administrative Procedure 4215 Section G. 
Chaperones for day trips are only required to undergo the background check. 
For an overnight field trip, chaperones must complete a full fingerprint background check and form.

 

Costs of these Services are:

 
  • Fingerprinting - $61.07  (This has changed from $63.82)
 
  • Commercial Background Check ($7.00) - Acceptable forms of payment for background checks only include cash, Visa, Mastercard and money orders.
    Personal checks are not accepted.
  •  Any applicant who requires a "duplicate receipt" of the background check must respond to the Fingerprint Office with proper identification
    and a $5.00 money order (only).

When visiting the site, click "Elementary" to select
your child's grade.

Dear Parents, 

Welcome to the start of a new school year and another year of A+ School Rewards.  Our school (Kettering Elementary, ID# 00566) will have the opportunity to earn cash through Giant A+ School Rewards Program. 

All you have to do is  

  • Copy and paste this URL to log on to http://www.giantfood.com/our_stores/bonus_bucks/index.htm and designate our school online OR 
  • Send your 11-digit Giant BONUSCARD number to your child's teacher along with your last name. 

After you register your card, each shopping trip at Giant using your BONUSCARD earns CASH for our school!  Each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Giant website.  You can track the amount of points you eard for our school by checking your grocery receipt.  Our school will receive a check at the end of the program and the money can be used for any of our school's educational needs. 

Remember, even if you registered your card last year, you must re-register this year for our school to receive credit.  Attending to this simple process makes a HUGE difference to our school.  We need your support.  Please be sure to register your card to benefit Kettering Elementary using ID# 00566.

Please be reminded that that area is for DROP OFF ONLY.
There are parking spaces available if you need to do more than drop off your child.
Please be mindful and considerate of other parents who are behind you in line.
