Intramurals at Kenmoor Middle-
The following sports are offered at Kenmoor this year : Softball, Baseball, Cheerleading, Girls and Boys Basketball and Girls and Boys Soccer.
Is your student is interested in one or more of these sports?? If so, please find and complete the Required Eligibility Forms on the PGCPS Interscholastics Athletics site-- print them out and have your student bring them when they come to Kenmoor during the first week of school.

Kenmoor Middle School, this announcement serves as notification to
parents/guardians of the implementation of an after-school detention program.
Detention may be offered as an
alternative to suspension for students who have been involved in repeated Level
1 and/or Level 2 disciplinary infractions. Detention Hall will be a serious,
academic environment in which the student will not be allowed to talk and must work on homework, classwork
or assignments that will be provided in detention hall. Any assignments that
are provided in detention will not
be graded or recorded.
Detention Hall will be held Monday
thru Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:30 pm.
accepting this alternative to suspension, parents/guardians must agree to
provide transportation or authorization for the school to release the student
to walk after detention.

PER MARLBORO, MD –
Prince George’s County Public Schools will seek a temporary 45-day
extension of the date required to have students immunized according to
Maryland’s new immunization requirements. This extension will allow parents more time to have their

have Kindergarten and 7th grade students immunized was Tuesday, September 16;
the new deadline will be Friday, October 31, 2014.

Parents and guardians! Now Available, the Family Portal Mobile Web App!
Get access to your student's grades, assignments, attendance and more on a web-enabled mobile device. First, register through Oracle Identity Management by going to the PGCPS home page, selecting the Parents tab, and clicking on the SchoolMAX Family Portal link. You will need your student's identification number, date of birth, and the numerical house number for the student's primary address. Your newly created username and password will permanently replace your old login information.
