The Kindergarten and 1st graders are hard at work preparing for their spring program, called "Welcome to our Animal Kingdom".  The students will be dressing up as animals and performing 9 songs, which are all about animals!  The shows are at 8:45 AM and 7 PM on Tuesday, June 9th.  Please contact Miss K for further information.
 
4th and 5th graders have been playing recorders for the past couple of weeks, and are advancing in the Recorder Karate series.  Students test for each "belt" by preparing a new song and testing (playing).  When a student successfully passes their belt, they can move onto the next song, and get to sign their name on our Recorder Wall of Fame.  We will culminate our unit by performing a mini-concert for 4th and 5th grade teachers.
 
Pre-K students are preparing a few song selections for their graduation ceremony, which will take place onJune 12th.
 
2nd and 3rd grade music students successfully performed their spring program, "We Celebrate America", on April 4th.  They are now wrapping up their school year with a number of interesting activities, including a Beethoven unit. 

Instrumental Music

The spring instrumental concerts will be on June 3rd at 8:45 AM for students and 7:00 PM for families and friends.  Come on out and hear the results of all of our practice.
