Prince George's County Public Schools' Write-a-Book Literary Competition serves to support many of the objectives of the language arts programs in the County, as noted  below.  Also, below find some resources to support the creation of the students' work products. 

 Students write to inform, to persuade, and to express personal ideas.  

Collaboration between Library Media Specialists and classroom teachers at the school level will provide a climate that is conducive to student learning and achievement.  

Parent involvement completes the partnership between home and school and contributes to the overall success of the students’ creative literary experience.
