After speaking with JRR parents and our crossing guards, we have decided to return to our dismissal procedures used last year. Effective Tuesday, September 8, 2009 when the bell rings at 3:25 p.m. for dismissal, our walkers, car/van riders, and daycare riders will be dismissed first, followed by bus riders.
We apologize for any inconveniences, but have made this decision in the best interest of student safety. If you have questions, please call the school at 301-449-4980.

Prince George's County Public Schools is seeking highly motivated individuals who have a Bachelor’s Degree to enter our teacher training program. "Count on Us," the live mathematics homework help-line television call-in show, airs Monday, October 5 from 4 - 6pm on Comcast channel 96 and Verizon channel 38. Students can also e-mail their questions to PGCPS teachers.

Parents we are so sorry we missed you for our Family Portal Mtgs. Those parents that attended received their Portal Number . This number allows you to access your child s grades and attendance records and can be used throughout there enrollment in any PGCPS.
With your permission we can send the numbers home. If this is your desire please click here to download the word document, fill out the bottom portion, tear it off and return to the school no later than Wednesday, June 17, 2009.
Prince George s County Public Schools uses an online student information system called SchoolMAX. This system keeps track of nearly all student data, including:
- Contact Information
- Attendance
- Grades
- Discipline
The Family Portal is a feature of SchoolMAX that allows designated family members to view this information for their children. It is a browser-based application and works best on any of these web browser applications:
