    James H. Harrison Mission Statement

The staff of James H. Harrison Elementary School is dedicated to teaching all students the designated curriculum of the Prince George's County Public School System, as aligned with the Maryland College and Career Ready Standards. James H. Harrison Elementary School provides an educational experience that will enable students to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become life-long learners in the technological, global society in which we live. Our goal is to ensure all students graduate college and career ready. As members of a professional learning community, we will encourage the continued growth and learning of all stakeholders, including students, parents, staff members, administrators, and the community at large.  Through the use of informal and formal assessments, all stakeholders will work collaboratively to assist each student in achieving their individual potential. We establish a safe, nurturing and supportive atmosphere in which our students can grow and learn academically, socially, and emotionally.
