INTERMEDIATE TEAM

The Intermediate team is off to a great start. The students have worked on identifying math symbols, such as plus (+) and equal (=), and are learning about the concept of equality. Our students are recognizing that “equals” means two things are the same. This idea transfers over to their reading and communication skills where students recognize that an item, a word for the item, and a pcs for the item are all the same. In science we are finishing our unit in life science and will soon be starting Earth and Space science. Students will be learning about the earth’s layers, natural processes that cause changes in the earth’s crust, and how the movement of the Earth causes the cycle of day and night and the cycle of seasons.
